These terms govern this website, simpler.tax. The Simpler Tax application has
its own licence, the EULA at simpler.tax/eula.txt, which governs installing
and using the Software; for the Software, that agreement prevails over these
terms wherever the two touch the same subject.

By using this site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not
use the site.


1. WHO PROVIDES THIS

The site is provided by Simpler Terminal Value Systems Pte. Ltd.
(UEN 202550777E), a company incorporated in Singapore ("we", "us").


2. NOT ADVICE

Nothing on this site is tax, accounting, legal, financial or investment
advice, and reading it, or using the Software, creates no adviser or
accountant relationship with us.

The site describes what the Software does and how we measured it. The
Software prepares figures; it files nothing. Every return is something you
check and submit yourself, under your own name and your own responsibility.
Tax rules change and your circumstances are particular. Where a figure
matters, verify it against IRAS's own guidance or with a professional.


3. THE FIGURES ON THIS PAGE

Test totals, gate tallies, corpus scores and similar counts on this site are
measurements of our own instruments, run on the dates and against the builds
they name. They are honest claims about those runs. They are not promises
about your documents, your books or your outcome, and they do not vary any
term of the EULA or of clause 8 or 9 below.


4. THE DOWNLOAD

The installer is free. Obtain it from this page only, and verify the SHA-256
printed beside the download button before you run the file.

The build is not signed yet and the page says so plainly. A Windows warning
about an unknown publisher is expected. A file whose hash does not match the
one printed here is not our build: do not run it, however you came by it.

We are not responsible for copies obtained from anywhere other than this
page, or for files altered in transit, re-packaged, or passed to you by
third parties. If someone forwarded you an installer, do not run it: type
simpler.tax into the browser yourself and download it here.


5. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

You may not re-host, mirror or redistribute the installer; link to this page
instead, so the person you send there can verify the hash against the page
that made the promise. You may not present an altered copy of the Software or
of this site as ours, wrap the download in your own installer, charge for
access to it, or use our name or marks to suggest we endorse something we
have not seen. You may not attack, probe or disrupt the site.

The EULA's own restrictions on the Software apply from the moment you
install it.


6. OTHER PEOPLE'S SITES

This site links to IRAS, Peppol authorities and other third parties. Those
sites are not ours: we do not control them, we do not endorse them by
linking, and their content and conduct are their responsibility, not ours.


7. WHOSE WORK THIS IS

The text, artwork and layout of this site belong to us. The fonts it embeds
are under their own open licences, which sit beside the font files in
/fonts. The Software's third-party components and their licences are listed
in the notices linked in the footer. Viewing this site grants you no licence
beyond viewing it; "Simpler Tax" and the kite mark identify us and may not
be used to identify anyone else.


8. AS IS, AND CHANGES

The site is provided as is and free of charge. We may change, suspend or
withdraw any part of it, including the download, at any time without notice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties about the
site, express or implied, including as to accuracy, availability, or fitness
for any purpose.


9. LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of
profits, loss of business, loss of data, penalties, interest, or any
indirect or consequential loss arising out of the use of, inability to use,
or reliance on this site.

Because the site and the Software are supplied free of charge, our total
aggregate liability under or in connection with these terms is limited to
SGD 100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under
Singapore law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by
negligence, or for fraud.


10. PRIVACY

What little data moves when you use this site, and how to reach our Data
Protection Officer, is set out at simpler.tax/privacy.txt.


11. GENERAL

If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest stand. These terms
are the entire agreement about the website; the EULA is the entire agreement
about the Software. If we update these terms, the new version appears here
with a new date at the top.


12. LAW

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of
Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
